Himalayan salt

More than just a spice, himalayan salt is a natural gem hundreds of millions of years old. Recognizable for its delicate pink color and crystalline structure, it brings authentic taste and refined aesthetics to every dish.

Kristal So brings you the purest himalayan salt, directly from the foot of the mountains, untouched by modern pollution.

Current offer

Our himalayan salt is of natural origin, and it is additionally iodized in accordance with valid health recommendations, which ensures the intake of iodine in the daily diet. It does not contain GMOs, gluten, soy, dairy products, artificial colors or additives.

It is available in packages of 350g (fine and coarse granulation), as well as in a package with a mill of 180g. Due to its properties and characteristic taste, it is an excellent choice for food preparation, seasoning, as well as for use in baths and natural body care treatments.

Purity preserved for 250 million years

Our Himalayan salt comes from salt mines in the Punjab region (Pakistan), at the foot of the himalayas. These mines are the remains of an ancient sea that dried up more than 250 million years ago, long before the emergence of modern civilization and industrial pollution.

For millennia, himalayan salt has been protected deep underground, under the enormous pressure of the mountain massifs. It is dug by hand, washed and dried in the sun, keeping its original structure and composition, without the refining and bleaching process that ordinary table salt goes through.

Why is it a favorite among foodies?

Himalayan salt attracts gourmets because it crumbles easily between the fingers, melts evenly in the dish and brings a mild, natural minerality that enhances the aroma without aggressive saltiness; in addition, its color and texture give food a visual flavor that ordinary salt simply does not have.

It owes its distinctive pink color to the presence of iron and other trace minerals that are a natural part of its structure.

Many chefs point out that Himalayan salt has a less harsh and more subtle salty taste than regular salt, which makes it ideal for bringing out the natural flavors of foods.

Our salt is treated with an agent that reduces the tendency to harden and facilitates manipulation and even sprinkling, especially with proper storage. Whether you use it fine or coarse from the mill, it provides a specific experience and crunch, especially when used as a finishing salt.

Our salt does not contain anti-caking additives or is chemically treated. It is salt as nature created it.
