From the regions close to the Adriatic Sea, from Dalmatia, where you can feel the smell of salt in the air, we brought to Belgrade the dream and vision of creating a company that will offer the highest quality products from the above - fresh salmon, prepared and processed according to the highest world standards, as well as the finest salt from all parts of the planet, needed for various purposes.
From coarse sea salt, which can be felt under your fingers and turns every dish into a specialty, through rock salt, which is responsible for the fineness of the leather and textiles we touch every day, to road salt, which makes our sidewalks and roads passable even on the coldest days. We import fresh, cold-smoked delicious salmon from distant seas. Over the years, with dedicated work, we have reached the Himalayas, where the healthiest salt of incredible colors and textures comes to us.
The company Kristal salt was founded in 1997, and in the first four years it dealt exclusively with the import and trade of salt, and in 2002 we started to refine, iodize and pack salt ourselves. In the first year we processed 4000 tons, already in 2006 we reached the result of 20000 processed tons, and in 2012 we processed more than 40000 tons of salt and thus became the leader on the Serbian market.
In 2013, our company created Natural fish, a work unit dedicated to the processing of all types of fish, among which stands out cold smoked salmon from Norway, a favorite among consumers in Serbia. The factory, which covers an area of 1000 m², contains state-of-the-art smoking chambers, slicing machines and vacuum packaging machines, but more important than technical achievements and standards are hardworking people, experts in fish and salt processing who, with their dedicated work, have made our products the best in the region.
The mission of the Kristal salt company, and the Natural fish work unit within it, is to offer products according to world standards, made through a modern, ecological production system, taking into account nature and the health of consumers.
